Bass Strait Maritime Centre

Birds vs Plastic with Peter Puskic

Plastic is in our ocean, from the Arctic to the Antarctic, at depth and on the surface of the water. The waters surrounding Tasmania are no exception and as a result we are increasingly documenting the impacts of this pollution on our wildlife. The animals of the Bass Strait have stories to tell, warnings of the threat caused by plastic.

PhD student, Peter Puskic, will share the results of his research exploring the impacts of plastic on seabirds, close to home and afar.
