Booking Information

Thank you for your interest in making a group booking. Discounted, group bookings available for 10-50 visitors. Group tours last for a maximum of 1 hour.

Accompanying teachers, tour guides, carers and bus drivers receive free entry. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a self-guided visit or request two (2) of the following group activities at no extra cost

  • School groups are requested to arrive via the museum side entrance. (not the main entrance) Please leave bags on the bus or the veranda.
  • Photos are allowed without flash, no large bags, drinks, or food allowed.
  • We don’t have on-site parking for large vehicles. Drivers are requested to drop-off guests at the main entrance on Gloucester Avenue and park at the nearby beachside carpark on Victoria Parade.
  • In fine weather school groups are welcome to sit on the lawns outside in Joshua Slocum Park. (Please be mindful of plovers in season)
  • Unless otherwise arranged, an invoice for your booking will be emailed directly to your named contact person, on completion of your visit.
  • Teachers, support staff and carers are free of charge.
  • Unless a full venue booking has been made, the museum will be open to the public during your visit.
  • Cancellation Policy: Please notify staff at least 4 days prior to the date of your booking.
  • Please let us know if you have any special requirements to ensure that you have a memorable visit.
