1. General Terms

1.1. By purchasing an entry or tour ticket to the Bass Strait Maritime Centre, visitors agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1.2. Entry and tour tickets grant access to specified areas and activities within the Centre as stated at the time of purchase.

1.3. The Centre reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who does not comply with its rules and regulations.

1.4. Tickets are non-transferable and must be used on the date specified unless otherwise stated.

1.5. The Centre reserves the right to modify exhibits, tour schedules, or opening hours without prior notice.

2. Ticket Sales and Entry Conditions

2.1. Tickets must be purchased through authorised channels, including the official website, ticketing partners, or on-site.

2.2. Proof of purchase may be required upon entry. Digital and printed copies of tickets are accepted.

2.3. Concession tickets require valid identification at the time of purchase and/or entry.

2.4. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

3.1. Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law or under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Centre.

3.2. Refunds or reschedules may be granted in cases where:

  • The Centre cancels an event or tour.
  • The visitor experiences exceptional circumstances and provides appropriate evidence.

 

3.3. Requests for refunds or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled visit.

3.4. No refunds will be issued for no-shows or late arrivals.

3.5. In the event of unexpected closures due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, the Centre may offer rescheduling options or refunds where appropriate.

4. Liability and Visitor Responsibilities

4.1. Visitors enter the Centre at their own risk, and the Centre is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury unless due to negligence.

4.2. Visitors must comply with all safety guidelines and staff instructions during their visit.

4.3. The Centre is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.

5. Amendments

5.1. The Centre reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the official website and will apply to future ticket purchases.
